D2 is our core firearms training class—a well-rounded, basic pistol course designed to help shooters of all levels return to, refine, or build upon the foundational skills that drive real shooting accuracy and defensive confidence.
This basic pistol course was developed after observing a common trend: shooters blaming their sights or gear for missed shots, when in reality, the issue often lies in a breakdown of fundamentals. D2 focuses on identifying and correcting those deficiencies through hands-on instruction, drills, and a deep dive into the basics of marksmanship.
What D2 Covers:
- Core shooting fundamentals: grip, stance, trigger control, sight alignment, and follow-through
- Diagnosing and correcting personal shooting errors
- Effective shot placement and defensive application of a handgun
- Building consistency and efficiency under pressure
This basic pistol course is perfect for:
